The Nanospider™ Air Conditioning units were designed to meet the needs of precision fiber production by electrospinning, where ambient air temperature and humidity take part in nanofiber production recipe. In order to get an uniform and homogenous electrospun nanofiber layer, stable ambient air is required. Not only layer uniformity, but also fiber diameter distribution and other parameters are affected.
As elecrospinning process produces fibers with extremely small diameter, the process rapidly reacts to changes of working conditions inside the spinning chamber. Depending on final output material parameters, NS AC unit can be finely tuned for the spinning chamber and/or working room conditioning, providing output temperature accuracy +/- 1 °C and output humidity accuracy +/- 3% RH. Both output parameters air temperature and air humidity can be tuned independently. On top of that, output relative humidity ranges from 10% RH.

The Nanospider™ Air Conditioning („NS AC“) units can be utilized in pharmaceutical production and also in other industries where small dozens of active substances are processed. NS AC units tunability allow to control air temperature and humidity over time and independently, thus to control e.g. drying process. Depending on the scale of pharmaceuticals manufacturing process, NS AC product line offers three products with different output flow level. The airflow can be tuned further for optimal volume. Output relative humidity ranges from 10% RH.
